Craftbox | Beta Preview (v1.2.0-beta.5)
Warning
Beta builds are NOT suitable for production use, so do not use this to manage Minecraft servers you care about! Test this build in a fresh container/environment.
- NEW! New Text File on the Files tab, next to New Folder — the last thing missing from the file manager. Creating a config, a datapack
pack.mcmetaor a start-up note previously meant writing the file on another machine and uploading it, even though the panel could already edit one once it existed. The dialog opens on.txtwith the cursor in front of it, so typing a name and pressing Enter is the whole interaction, and the new file opens straight into the text editor. It works while a server is running, the same as New Folder, and it will never overwrite a file that is already there. - Both create dialogs now show the folder you are creating into in quotes —
Created in "world/datapacks".— so a name with spaces in it stops running into the sentence around it. - A server's back arrow now returns to that server's group page instead of always going to the dashboard. Opening three servers in a group in turn no longer means clicking back into the group each time. Servers without a group are unchanged.
- Assign Group on the Settings tab is centred under Memory and Additional JVM Arguments rather than hanging off the left edge, matching how the rest of Advanced Options is laid out.
Installation
The easiest way to host Craftbox yourself is by using Docker. Please read this part of the Craftbox docs for the installation guide.
Alternatively, you can also download the source code, install the required node modules and run the server manually. (Learn more)
