Somul 1.0.0

Somul is a per-app volume mixer that lives in your menu bar. Every app making
sound gets its own slider, and the levels you set are still there next time.

What it does

• One fader per app, for everything currently playing
• Master volume and output device in the top row
• Opens on ⌘ Shift V, over full-screen apps, without stealing focus
• Remembers each app's level and mute between launches
• No dock icon, no window to manage, no account, no telemetry

Installing

Requires macOS 14.4 or newer. Download Somul.dmg, drag it to Applications,
and allow Somul under Privacy & Security → Audio Recording when it asks — macOS
counts per-app volume as audio capture, and the sliders need it.

This build is signed with a Developer ID and notarized, so it opens without a
detour through Gatekeeper. Universal binary: Apple silicon and Intel.
