Coordinated mobile SDK release. All six Android artifacts are available at 4.7.6: core, autodetection, autodetection-play, NFC, wallet, and the full bundle. Android behavior is unchanged from 4.7.5. Internal dependency versions are aligned, and consumer builds passed for the full bundle and each standalone artifact using both Gradle module metadata and POM metadata.

v4.7.0
New: didit-sdk-autodetection-play - auto-capture without the bundled ML runtime
An optional new artifact that runs document and face auto-capture on the ML runtime Google Play services already provides on the device, instead of bundling one into your APK:
- ~43 MB smaller universal APK (~10 MB less installed native code per device on arm64)
- Detection behavior verified frame-for-frame identical to the bundled engine on a physical-device matrix before release, and inference is typically 1.5-2x faster
- Requires Google Play services; on devices without it the SDK falls back automatically - to the bundled engine when
didit-sdk-autodetectionis also installed, or to manual capture otherwise. It never crashes because of an unavailable runtime. - Opt in by swapping the artifact:
implementation("me.didit:didit-sdk-autodetection-play:4.7.0"). Ship both auto-detection artifacts to keep ML auto-capture on non-GMS devices. - Requires
didit-sdk-core4.7.0+. The default artifacts are unchanged.
Improvements
- Auto-capture engine loading is more resilient: if an engine fails to initialize, the SDK now falls through to the next available engine before resorting to manual capture, with diagnostic telemetry at every step.
- New session diagnostics (engine selection and inference-latency summaries) help support teams pinpoint device-specific capture issues.
All six artifacts (didit-sdk, didit-sdk-core, didit-sdk-autodetection, didit-sdk-autodetection-play, didit-sdk-nfc, didit-sdk-wallet) are published at 4.7.0.
