ToolHaven 1.0.0

A Windows desktop workbench for open-source CLI tools. Convert media, images,
PDFs and code without installing anything by hand — light tools ship inside
the installer, heavier ones are downloaded and verified by the app itself.

Highlights

  • 22 tools, one interface. FFmpeg, yt-dlp, qpdf, libvips, Pandoc, Poppler,
    ImageMagick, ExifTool, ripgrep, fd, jq, yq, Miller, Oxipng, Difftastic,
    tokei, hexyl, Dust and more, each exposed as a typed operation — never a
    raw shell prompt.
  • Nothing to install by hand. 9 tools travel inside the ~15 MB installer;
    9 more are downloaded on demand, hash-verified, and activated atomically
    the first time you use them.
  • Real background progress. Jobs keep running and reporting progress
    after you close the tool panel — the queue is a first-class view, not a
    side effect of an open dialog.
  • Light and dark themes, following Windows or set manually, with no
    flash on startup.
  • Drag and drop that works. Drop a file anywhere in the window; with a
    tool open, it goes straight into that tool.
  • No AI, no telemetry, no bundled ads. Every tool is open source with a
    permissive or aggregation-safe license; see LICENSING.md
    for exactly which license covers which binary.
