ToolHaven 3.1.0

A Windows desktop workbench for open-source CLI tools — media, images, PDFs and
developer utilities, without the command line.

New

  • A finished job can be acted on. Every result in the history now has
    Show in folder, which opens Explorer with the file already selected, beside
    Copy path. The path itself is gone from the row — one long line that made
    every row wide and told nobody anything they could act on.

Fixed

  • Tesseract could not be installed at all. Its installer asks Windows for
    elevation, so it failed with "the requested operation requires elevation"
    before it read a single argument. It now runs with the app's own token, which
    needs no prompt, and falls back to Windows' consent dialog if that is ever
    not enough.
  • A dropdown was narrower than the words in it, so a choice wrapped onto two
    lines and grew a sideways scrollbar. In Settings its options were also
    indented out of line with the value they replace.
  • A downloading tool ran its name and its status together on one line in the
    install plan.
  • A job's row was half in English for anybody reading in Portuguese: the
    tool's name and everything the app itself said about the job are now
    translated too.

Windows x64 only. SHA-256 checksums in checksums.txt. The portable build does
not update itself. SmartScreen will warn on first run: the installer is not
code-signed.

If you are on 2.1.0 or later, you do not need any of this: open the app and it
will fetch this version on its own.
