HaulNX 2.2.15
Quality of Life + New Icons
- All 60 console icons have been redrawn/refreshed for better visual
consistency across the set, including the newest additions (Amiga, ZX
Spectrum, CHIP-8, PICO-8, Tamagotchi, Adobe Flash). Applies everywhere an
icon shows up: Browse, Library, Collections, cards, and the desktop
companion. - Switching to the Library or Collections tab used to run a
stat()(or a
full folder walk, for the app/size chip) on every single shown console,
every single time — on an all-consoles-shown setup that's dozens of
filesystem round trips blocking the screen before it could even draw.
Both tabs now paint immediately from cache and fill in each console's
count chip a moment later in the background, so navigation is fast even
with every console visible. - Fixed a card-view slowdown where switching to card view would re-render
every card's title and subtitle up front, even ones never scrolled into
view. Cards now render their text the first time they're actually shown,
same optimization the list view already had. - New bulk visibility tools on Settings > Manage consoles (Y button): Hide
all, Show all (Add + Library), Show all — Library only, Show
all — Add only, and Restore to default, instead of having to cycle
each console's visibility by hand one at a time. - New "Hide from this page" option in each console's X > Options menu, on
both the Library and Collections tabs. Hide it from one tab, the other, or
both — hiding from both is the same as fully hiding it in Settings >
Manage consoles. The Collections tab's Options menu now also shows the
console's icon in its header, matching the Library tab's Options menu. - Sammy Atomiswave (and Naomi) showed an empty folder on the Library
tab by default despite being hidden from Browse/Collections since launch —
an oversight now fixed. Only affects newly-added consoles; your existing
settings are untouched. - Fixed a folder cached as "0 apps" after being seeded empty (e.g. a console
folder created at first launch) sometimes never picking up games added to
it later, when the write path didn't reliably bump the folder's own
modified time. - Fixed PS Vita's folder-bundled games (
.vpk+ data folder) showing no icon
and being skipped from the on-device inventory JSON; they now get an icon
and are listed as a single entry with the correct total size. - Fixed a console redirected to a custom install folder always showing 0
apps on the Collections tab instead of its real game count. - Fixed a game card falling back to its console's icon not inheriting that
icon's custom-cover-art sizing, so it rendered small instead of full-size
like the console's own card. - Fixed uae4all2's update-source asset match (was grabbing
builder.zip
instead of the real*_switch.zipbuild) and added the Yokoi Game & Watch
emulator as a new update source.
