ratio = (Fauxx_action_total / ?_what_number_goes_here) I don't fully understand how you would know the amount of identifiable actions I take during the day. Thanks! |

RTfM dude! What does "Noise Ratio" on the Dashboard mean? What it doesn't measure: the quality of the noise — whether the synthetic activity is hitting categories that are actually different from your real interests, whether it's fooling profiling systems, or how diverse the topics are. It's just a rate gauge. :) |

What does "Noise Ratio" on the Dashboard mean?
It's a throughput indicator: min(actions today / 500, 100%). 500 actions in a day reads as a "saturated" Noise Ratio of 100%.
What it doesn't measure: the quality of the noise — whether the synthetic activity is hitting categories that are actually different from your real interests, whether it's fooling profiling systems, or how diverse the topics are. It's just a rate gauge.
