Highlights
- Adds rich File Node previews for images and PDFs. Large PDFs render only the visible pages, while bounded image,
canvas, and file limits protect the Workspace from unbounded memory use. - Completes File and Specification lifecycle workflows: create a Specification from the Canvas menu, rename or
delete sources from their Workspace surfaces, organize folders, and keep existing Nodes synchronized with
filesystem changes. - Lets paths from the Files panel be dropped directly into Terminal and CodingAgent sessions with quoting matched
to the active shell. - Expands atomic Canvas proposals with Specification creation, persisted application progress, and recovery of
reversible File and Specification side effects. - Makes every available Kavor Skill advertise the exact
kavor.skill.get("<name>")call a CodingAgent uses to
load it.
Fixes
- Preserves custom YAML frontmatter fields, comments, order, filenames, and Workspace-relative paths when editing
Specifications. - Stabilizes Terminal and CodingAgent hydration so delayed PTY state does not lose restored content or duplicate
ownership during Workspace changes. - Keeps Sticky Note appends as distinct Markdown blocks, avoids creating a revision for an empty append, and
applies text limits by Unicode code point. - Hardens File and Specification mutations with serialized Workspace changes, path containment, source
invalidation, and explicit failure handling. - Resolves the production dependency advisories present in the previous dependency graph.
Installation
Download Kavor from https://download.agentkavor.com. The page detects the current platform and also exposes all
available packages.
- Windows x64 uses the assisted per-User NSIS installer. The installer is currently unsigned, so Microsoft
SmartScreen may require explicit confirmation. - macOS 13+ provides separate arm64 and x64 DMGs. Builds are ad-hoc signed but not notarized; follow the download
page's Gatekeeper instructions. Kavor-managed updates use the matching architecture-specific ZIP and expose an
explicit coordinated restart after the cached artifact is revalidated. The manual download remains available
at all times. - Linux x64 provides AppImage and DEB packages. AppImage supports Kavor-managed updates with an explicit
coordinated restart; DEB updates are installed manually from the download page.
Known limitations
- Windows ARM64 and Linux ARM64 packages are not included until their native PTY, SQLite, process-containment,
and packaged-runtime gates can run on matching CI environments. - Windows direct downloads do not yet have an Authenticode publisher certificate.
- macOS packages do not yet have Developer ID signing or notarization. Gatekeeper may require manual confirmation,
and replacing an ad-hoc build may cause macOS to request access toKavor Safe Storagein Keychain again. - Microsoft Store distribution is not part of this release.
