1.15
- Nunc Sonat checks the latest GitHub release at launch, and again about every 12 to 24 hours while it stays open. The check is free for every account. It compares the release tag with this version by major and minor number, so 1.15 is newer than 1.9. The app stays quiet when the network is down or GitHub is rate limiting, and it ignores drafts and prereleases.
- A newer version puts a download icon in the mini player's upper left. In Lyrics debug mode that icon sits beside the song time. The menu shows Update available, with the version, directly above Settings. Choosing the icon or the menu item opens the release page.

- The mini player progress bar can be dragged or clicked to seek on an Apple TV, a HomePod, This Mac, or a Pilot. The time you are choosing shows while you drag, and the seek is sent when you let go. The playhead stays on that time until the player catches up, including the AirPlay delay from 1.11. Seek stays free.
- Lyrics debug mode adds a Fix timing checkbox next to the lyrics title. It starts off and is not remembered. Clicking a line changes its time only while the box is checked.
- Timing corrections are saved as
.lrcfiles in a lyrics fix folder,~/Music/lyrics-fixunless you choose another. The folder is created the first time a correction is saved. Lookup uses that folder first, then~/Music/hunter, then the cache, then online. A lyric that came from a file keeps that file's name. Clear lyrics cache and Reset leave the fix folder alone. Reset timing deletes only the current song's fix file, after you confirm. Older corrections in~/Music/lyrics/timing-overrides.jsonare copied into the fix folder and that file is no longer used.~/Music/hunteris still only read.

- A Debug build is Nunc Sonat Dev, bundle id
app.nuncsonat.mac.dev. It keeps its own keychain item (app.nuncsonat.credentials.dev) and its own preferences, and it does not take over or reset the release app. The build copies it to~/Library/Developer/NuncSonat/Debug/NuncSonat.app, and that is the only path it will run from. A copy in/tmp, on a disk image, or in DerivedData quits before it opens the keychain. The release app staysapp.nuncsonat.macandNunc Sonat.

- When macOS blocks Local Network access, the mini player and the menu explain how to fix it, and a notification appears once. The steps are: quit Nunc Sonat, turn off every Nunc Sonat row under System Settings → Privacy & Security → Local Network (old copies may be listed), reopen Nunc Sonat from Applications and click Allow, and restart the Mac if no prompt appears. Open Local Network Settings and Quit are on the message. A speaker that is simply offline, or a connection that times out, does not show it.
1.11
- The mini player, the menu, and the lyrics follow the song the speakers are playing. An Apple TV that is AirPlaying to a HomePod or other receiver reports the timeline it has already handed to AirPlay, a couple of seconds ahead of the room. The playhead and the title now wait out that buffer, including a latency the receiver includes in its device info.
- Settings → Lyrics has Lyrics debug mode, off unless you turn it on. The mini player then shows elapsed and total in the upper left, and each lyric line shows its timestamp. Clicking a line while the song is playing sets that line to the time you hear. The correction is saved in the lyrics cache and used the next time that song loads. Reset timing drops the correction for the current song. Clear lyrics cache removes every correction. Reset Nunc Sonat still leaves the lyrics cache, and
~/Music/hunteris still only read.

- The volume slider moves as you drag and keeps that level until the player reports it back. A slow reply from Music on This Mac, or from a HomePod or Apple TV, does not pull the knob back to the old level. Volume commands are sent one at a time, and the This Mac command no longer waits on a follow-up read.
- A playlist that comes back empty, or never comes back, from a HomePod or Apple TV is requested again, then the now-playing subscription is opened again, then the AirPlay session is rebuilt. Each step is logged.
- A short connection drop leaves the last song on the mini player, with a small reconnecting icon. The "Not connected" message appears only after reconnecting has failed for 10 seconds.
- A lyrics file whose title, after the language code, is the song title is the one that is shown. That includes a one-character title such as 碗. When that file exists, another language is not used instead. A cached lyric from 1.9 is looked up again.
- The lyrics panel title is
Lyrics –followed by the song title. - Chinese and Japanese timed lyrics that were squeezed into the first seconds of the song are spread across the song, so the highlight follows the line that is actually being sung.

Since 1.0
1.8. If a pairing was saved by an earlier build, Reset, Forget pairing, and pairing again explain that macOS will not let this copy change it. The alert includes the command to remove that keychain item, and a Copy Command button.
1.7. Reset checks that the pairings are actually gone. If the keychain still has them, Nunc Sonat says so and stays open. Saving a pairing updates the item that is already there.
1.6. A song the Apple TV shows without a cover gets artwork again. Playlist rows without a cover from the Apple TV use the same lookup. The mini player opens after a restart when you left it open, and stays closed when you left it closed.
1.5. When the song changes, a cover found for the previous song is cleared and a new one is looked up. A cover the Apple TV sends for the new song replaces it. The previous cover stays up only in the gap before the next title.
1.4. Now playing asks the Apple TV for the current song’s artwork, so the cover shows without opening the playlist. When the Apple TV has no cover, Nunc Sonat uses a saved image, then the Music library on this Mac if Automation is already allowed, then an online lookup. A cover the Apple TV sent is left as it is.
1.3. Reset removes only Nunc Sonat’s own keychain items.
1.2. The playlist has a close button. A HomePod that does not answer is tried once more, and it stays paired after you switch to This Mac. Forget pairing asks once in the menu. The first launch points at the menu-bar icon. With nothing saved, it selects This Mac and opens the mini player.
1.1. A HomePod pairs over AirPlay. Pairings, Pilot keys, and the license key are kept together. Settings → Advanced → Reset Nunc Sonat… clears pairings, the license on this Mac, preferences, and caches, and leaves the lyrics cache. An active Premium license shows the plan and expiry. Opening the app again brings the copy that is already running to the front.
