Scholar Citation Meta Scanner 1.4.0

First public release of Scholar Citation Meta Scanner.

Install: download scholar-citation-meta-scanner-1.4.0.zip below (not "Source code"), then in WordPress go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin. If an older copy is installed, choose Replace current with uploaded.

New in 1.4.0

• The plugin now updates from this repository's GitHub Releases. Future versions show up on the WordPress Plugins and Updates screens like any other plugin.

Highlights so far

• When switched on for a post or page (off by default), it finds every DOI and embeds COinS, so the Zotero browser button offers a pick-list of every cited work.
• Metadata comes from your own Scholar Citation Meta posts first, then Crossref, then DataCite, then doi.org.
• Handles publisher links with title slugs, text right after a DOI, and book/chapter DOI pairs.
