FaamOffice 0.11.2

FaamOffice 0.11.2 updates the desktop suite and its release pipeline.

• Show update notices from GitHub Releases and links to follow FaamOffice.
• Support Microsoft Store packages with Store-managed updates and compatible system integration controls.
• Include updated third-party notices and the latest FaamOffice assets.

Installers are available for macOS (Apple Silicon and Intel), Windows x64, and Linux x64 (AppImage, Debian and RPM).

The source update also includes configurable website advertising and Microsoft Store download badges, with Vietnamese and English copy. Those website features become available after the website server is deployed and configured.

macOS downloads refreshed on 2026-10-07: the Apple Silicon and Intel applications and DMG installers are Developer ID signed and notarized by Apple. Gatekeeper accepts the applications as “Notarized Developer ID”. The ZIP archives, blockmaps and macOS update feed have been refreshed to match.

The version remains 0.11.2. If an earlier macOS download shows “Apple cannot verify”, download the installer again, quit FaamOffice, replace the copy in Applications and reopen it.

Bản này chưa có chữ ký số của Apple hay Microsoft, nên lần mở đầu tiên sẽ bị hỏi lại:

• macOS 15 Sequoia trở lên (gồm 26 Tahoe):
  1. Mở app, rồi bấm Done khi macOS báo không mở được.
  2. Vào System Settings → Privacy & Security, kéo xuống mục Security và bấm Open Anyway (nút này chỉ hiện khoảng 1 giờ sau lần bị chặn).
  3. Nhập mật khẩu và bấm Open.
• macOS 14 trở về trước: nhấp chuột phải vào FaamOffice → Open → Open.
• Cách khác (Terminal): xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/FaamOffice.app.
• Windows: nếu thấy "Windows protected your PC", bấm More info → Run anyway ("Unknown publisher" là bình thường). Nếu Smart App Control của Windows 11 chặn thì không có nút chạy tiếp.

Có gì trong bản này

• Sáu ứng dụng: Docs (.docx), Sheets (.xlsx, .xls, .csv), Slides (.pptx), PDF, Markdown và HTML. Mọi tệp được mở, sửa và lưu ngay trên máy.
• Faam AI dùng API key của bạn: OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek, Grok, Mistral, Groq, OpenRouter và các nhà cung cấp khác.
• AI chạy trên máy: Ollama, LM Studio, llama.cpp. Settings có sẵn hướng dẫn cài đặt, tài liệu không rời khỏi máy.
• Faam AI Cloud: đăng nhập tài khoản FaamOffice (không bắt buộc) để dùng AI trên máy chủ, trả bằng credit.
• Nút đổi ngôn ngữ và nút sáng/tối ở góc trên bên phải. Giao diện có 21 ngôn ngữ, gồm cả tiếng Việt.
• Lời nhắc đặt FaamOffice làm ứng dụng mặc định để mở tệp Office.
• Lệnh faamoffice và máy chủ MCP cho các trợ lý lập trình như Claude Code, Codex, Cursor.

FaamOffice is an open-source desktop office suite with the Faam AI assistant. You edit Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF, Markdown and HTML files locally and save them back in their real formats. This is the first FaamOffice release, based on GenOffice 0.11.

Downloads:

• macOS: Apple Silicon uses the -arm64.dmg, Intel uses the plain .dmg.
• Windows: the Setup .exe.
• Linux: the AppImage, .deb or .rpm.

These builds are not yet signed by Apple or Microsoft, so the first launch needs one confirmation:

• macOS 15 Sequoia and later (incl. 26 Tahoe):
  1. Open the app and click Done when macOS says it can't be opened.
  2. Go to System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll to Security and click Open Anyway (shown for about an hour after the blocked launch).
  3. Enter your password and click Open.
• macOS 14 and earlier: right-click FaamOffice → Open → Open.
• Alternative (Terminal): xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/FaamOffice.app.
• Windows: if you see "Windows protected your PC", click More info → Run anyway ("Unknown publisher" is expected). If Windows 11 Smart App Control blocks it, there is no option to continue.

AI options:

• your own key for a cloud provider (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek, Grok, Mistral, Groq, OpenRouter and others);
• a local server (Ollama, LM Studio, llama.cpp);
• the optional FaamOffice account for Faam AI Cloud, billed in credits.
