DIRK v0.8.0 Beta — First Public Release

Introducing DIRK, open-source Red Team and Blue Team firmware for the M5Stack Cardputer ADV.

DIRK combines wireless reconnaissance, authorized security testing, defensive monitoring, and educational cybersecurity laboratories in one portable platform.

Features

Dual-Band Wi-Fi: Unified 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz network discovery using the ESP32-S3 and LAB5 MonsterC5.

Red Team: Authorized security validation, AP posture assessments, capture tools, and interactive attack learning labs.

Blue Team: Wireless monitoring, baseline comparisons, suspicious AP analysis, and security observations.

Bluetooth: BLE discovery, advertisement inspection, device assessments, and reporting.

GPS & Wardriving: Location-based wireless discovery using the official M5Stack LoRa/GPS Cap, with Buddy progression and XP.

LoRa & IR: Additional wireless and infrared tools for compatible hardware.

Installation

Download "DIRK-v0.8.0.bin" and flash it to a compatible M5Stack Cardputer ADV using M5Launcher.

The complete editable PlatformIO source project is also available for developers.

This is an early public beta. Features may be experimental, and supported capabilities depend on connected hardware.

Security-testing features are intended for networks and devices you own or are explicitly authorized to assess.
