gday-cli v1.0.0 - Initial Public Release

First stable release of gday-cli as a standalone CLI tool! 🎉

What's gday?

It turns today's gCal appointments into a markdown table, in pomodoro-sized chunks.

Installation

Via Homebrew

brew install discoveryworks/gday-cli/gday

Manual Installation

git clone https://github.com/discoveryworks/gday-cli.git
cd gday-cli
chmod +x bin/gday
sudo ln -sf $PWD/bin/gday /usr/local/bin/gday

Quick Start

  1. Install dependencies: pip install gcalcli
  2. Authenticate: gday auth
  3. Configure: Copy config.yml.example to ~/.config/gday/config.yml
  4. Run: gday
  5. Paste into your daily markdown journal of choice (Obsidian, Foam, etc.)
