More ways to make a scene.

Animate a layer. Leave a ghostly trail. Shape your sound. Divine 1.0.24 gives you more room to play in the editor, with clearer messages and a smoother feed around it.

Download Divine

Download the Android APK — for most Android phones.

Older 32-bit Android devices · App Store · Google Play

Direct downloads are available here. Store availability follows each store's rollout.

Make it move. Make it sound like you.

  • Animate your layers. Use keyframes to move, resize, turn and fade text, stickers, drawings and layered clips at moments you choose. Your motion stays with the layer in drafts and exports.
  • Give titles some attitude. Let them type themselves out, wiggle, bounce or loop.
  • Leave a ghostly trail. The new Echo effect leaves fading copies behind moving subjects in your video.
  • Catch the beat. Set effects like zoom pulse, glitch, shake or strobe to On the beat, and Divine finds the hits in your music or your clips' own sound.
  • Shape your sound. Adjust bass, mids and treble on clips and sound tracks with the new equalizer.
  • Hide a little. Draw a little. Blur or pixelate part of the frame, choose your brush size, and preview it before drawing. The canvas also resets its zoom when you open Draw, Filter or Tune.
  • Keep flashing gentle. Flashing effects stay within three flashes a second, including across the loop point, and still add the flashing-lights warning when you post.

Make something together

Send a camera clip from your library in a one-to-one chat so a friend can edit it into their own video, with credit to you. On iOS and Android, received clips can join your library when their credentials verify a Divine camera capture. Camera proof stays with clips as friends edit and pass them on.

Recordings made offline can also pick up their signature later from the library or while editing.

Watch your way

  • Captions in your language. Choose a subtitle language and keep selected languages in the original. Translations appear when available, are marked as machine-translated, and fall back to the original captions when a translation isn't ready.
  • Keep the screen clear. Pinch to hide the feed controls, then keep swiping. They stay hidden through video changes and auto-advance until you bring them back.
  • Captions with a lighter touch. Captions blur the video behind them, and taps, double-taps and holds reach the video underneath.
  • Find your people. More relevant people search and better loading of later results. Profile tabs stop scrolling far past their last row.
  • Cleaner details. Selected loop counts and publish dates appear under the creator's name. Links in video descriptions are easier to read and open, and the Home feed picker uses the full width of its row.

Fewer things getting in your way

  • Know what got through. Clearer message-delivery feedback and retries. A reaction removal that couldn't be delivered now shows a warning and gives you a way to retry.
  • Stay signed in when the login server has a rough moment. Inbox authentication also recovers from device clock differences.
  • Notifications get back on track. If setup fails at startup, Divine tries again during the session.
  • Crossposting controls work. Disconnect and Reconnect are real buttons. Accounts using their own key, a remote signer or Amber can connect too; on iOS, the connection flow needs 17.4 or later.
  • Lists hold together. People lists are back on your profile's Lists tab. Edits wait for confirmation, blocked or muted accounts stay out of member lists, and removing someone sticks. You can also report someone else's list.
  • Playback is steadier on iOS and Mac. Pausing near the end sticks, and a video no longer stops right after it starts.
  • Your labeled videos stay visible to you. Self-applied content warnings show your own video behind the warning. Adult-content labels still follow age verification and Content Filters.
  • Avatars look right. Transparent pictures no longer show what's behind them, and opening a profile picture no longer flashes a placeholder.
