  • Release files (main.js, manifest.json, styles.css) now come with GitHub artifact attestations, so you can verify they were built from this repository:

First release of Timebox.

Track how long you work on something, right inside your notes. Start a session and a timebox code block is inserted at the cursor; it renders as a session bar with the topic, the start time and a live timer. Finish it and the end time and duration are written into the note.

Features

  • Live session bar with a one-click Finish button
  • Optional pomodoro mode with focus/break phases, a progress bar and alerts on phase changes (notice, beep, optional system notification)
  • Active session in the status bar
  • Plain-text storage in the note; blocks can be written and edited by hand
  • Works in callouts, blockquotes and lists; light and dark themes; desktop and mobile

Install manually: download main.js, manifest.json and styles.css below into <vault>/.obsidian/plugins/timebox/, then enable Timebox in Settings → Community plugins.
