First public release, tested on a Miyoo Mini Plus running OnionOS.

Guide Watch puts walkthroughs inside your games: a rumble when a guide exists for what you launched, hold L2 + R2 and press Down to read it, press MENU to land back exactly where you paused.

Guide Downloader fills the card for you. Open it with wifi on, pick one console or all of them, and it downloads a guide for every ROM it can match.

Install

Unzip and copy onto the SD card, merging with what is there:

  • App/GuideWatch/ to SDCARD/App/GuideWatch/
  • App/GuideDownload/ to SDCARD/App/GuideDownload/
  • .tmp_update/startup/guidewatch.sh to SDCARD/.tmp_update/startup/guidewatch.sh

Reboot and launch a game. Needs the Ebook Reader app from Onion's Package Manager, and Onion's Auto save setting on (both are defaults for most setups).

Guides come from the GameFAQs archive on archive.org. No guide files are hosted here.
