The first update since the Manager was published. It asks before it goes anywhere near the network,
it stops refusing games for the wrong reason, and the access it holds on your account is now
something you can recognise and cut.
Going online
New features
- It asks before looking anything up, and keeps working offline if you say no — everywhere, not
only on the screen where the question was put.
Enhancements
- The switch is named for what it governs, and every screen says which side of it you are on.
"Work online" replaced "Look things up", which described the mechanism rather than the choice.
Account and linked devices
New features
- The tool shows the code that names its access. The website prints that code on every line of
Linked devices and it appeared in no program of ours, so you were asked to name a machine nothing
let you identify. - Games on one machine are grouped together. The tool draws a number once and the mod reads it;
nothing about your machine is measured, and the website never sees that number as it is.
Bug fixes
- Signing out hands the access back to the website. It was forgotten locally and left alive on
the account, where nothing could tell it from one still in use. - An access the website refuses is dropped here, instead of being kept and failing on every
call that followed.
Games and what the tool will do with them
Enhancements
- A game is judged on whether a translation can exist for it, not on whether we are willing to
install anything into it. A game we decline to touch is no longer treated as beyond help.
Bug fixes
- A lineage nobody can answer for is refused before the upload, not after the work is done.
- Contributing sends you into the game, where that act belongs, instead of to the website.
Interface
Bug fixes
- A control that cannot act is not offered at all, and an answer that arrived late is no longer
left on screen once it is stale.
Interface & shared core
New features
- A translation whose Main has closed says so on the game's card. The tool knew — it refused
the upload with an explanation — but only after the work was done.
Enhancements
- Fifty-three flags redrawn, the same ones the mod and the website carry.
