Keydoze 0.1.0 — Source preview

Keydoze is a small native macOS utility that pauses everyday keyboard, trackpad, and mouse input while you clean.

This is the initial open-source preview. It includes the full SwiftUI/AppKit app, original icon, tests, local build scripts, privacy policy, and contribution/security guidance.

• Pause both input categories, keyboard only, or trackpad and mouse.
• Choose 30 seconds, 1 minute, or 2 minutes, with a short preparation countdown.
• Automatic input return, both-Shift recovery, and Escape for pointing-only sessions.
• Light and dark appearances, simple access setup, and subtle native transitions with Reduce Motion support.
• Offline operation: no accounts, analytics, network requests, or saved input.

Build and validation

GitHub CI passed on macOS 26 with Xcode 26.2 / Swift 6.2.3: 32 tests, optimized app packaging, strict signature verification, and plist validation. Build from source on macOS 26+ with Swift 6.2+. See the README for commands and validation notes for the exact evidence and remaining coverage.

There is no ready-to-install app download in this preview. The local Apple-silicon package is development signed. The developer confirmed that the app works on his laptop hardware on 6 September 2026. A separate distribution build is now Developer ID signed and submitted for Apple notarization; approval and the public binary release remain pending; the validation notes distinguish this overall hardware confirmation from individually unrecorded edge cases. System gestures and hardware/security controls are not comprehensively blocked.
