Fix the legacy app name after updating from CodexMeter, and refresh the Open Rim icon registration.
Changes
- A manually installed
CodexMeter.appin Applications is safely renamed toCodeRim.appat launch, followed by one restart. Existing destinations and custom names are preserved. - Homebrew-managed installations defer the filename change to Homebrew so their receipts and future upgrades remain valid. Run
brew updateandbrew upgrade --cask --greedy dlfkdLR/tap/coderimto migrate the old cask. - The Open Rim logo uses a distinct bundled icon resource. Each new build refreshes its own Launch Services entry without clearing system-wide caches or resetting notification permissions.
- Existing settings, accounts, local history, update trust and installed CLI links are preserved.
If System Settings was open during the update, quit and reopen it. macOS can retain a separate Notifications icon cache until the next login. See troubleshooting.
macOS 14 or later; Universal 2 for Apple silicon and Intel. Includes the CLI and native widget extension. The app is ad-hoc signed and is not Apple-notarized. Download the DMG or ZIP with its matching SHA-256 file from this release. Published tags are immutable.
