Improve account and usage reliability on macOS, and publish the first Windows implementation preview.

macOS fixes

  • External Codex sign-ins and sign-outs invalidate the previous account's limits and in-flight responses. Account switching also verifies the shared CLI identity before reporting success.
  • Large active Codex logs advance through a stable APFS snapshot without blocking other sessions. Prefix rewrites, append-only growth, and exact read-budget boundaries retain consistent checkpoints. Logs on filesystems without clone support retain the strict live-file verification path.
  • Missing optional cache-write counters no longer freeze or duplicate token totals. Provider HTTP responses are bounded while receiving, including responses without Content-Length.
  • Preserve the latest installation-name migration, Homebrew recovery, local token display, provider artwork, and long-turn activity fixes. Provider reads, subprocesses and credential borrowing retain their bounded, origin-scoped behavior.

Windows preview

  • Windows 11 x64 and ARM64 self-contained ZIPs include the native WPF dashboard, tray/notch, local Codex/Claude history, CLI, and per-user installer.
  • OpenRouter Activity retains its reported period, units and cost history; estimated portions remain clearly labelled. Optional cache-write enrichment updates existing events without adding tokens.
  • The installed coderim command resolves to the CLI, partial/stale local readings remain visible, and the hover notch reschedules folding after losing keyboard focus.
  • This preview has 23 implemented provider connections and 47 pending catalog entries. Saved account switching, automatic updates, browser-cookie import, Widgets, and full macOS parity remain unfinished. See the Windows capability matrix.

Installation

macOS 14 or later; Universal 2 for Apple silicon and Intel. Includes the CLI and native widget extension. The macOS app is ad-hoc signed and is not Apple-notarized; Windows preview binaries are unsigned. Verify downloads against the matching SHA-256 manifest before installing. Follow the macOS first-launch guide or Windows setup guide. Published tags are immutable.
