🎉 Banner9 support is here!

Rainbow has been completely overhauled to support Banner9 along with a slew of optimization features, hence the new name, ✨ Starlite ✨, as a lightweight version of the STAR registration system.

✨ Features and Performance

  • Integration with Banner9 (instead of previous HTML parsing method)
  • Optimized cross-subject searches
  • Greatly enhanced course filtering options (9 new options)
  • Reserved time blocks and buffer time between classes when generating schedules
  • Optimized schedule generation to less than 1 second for majority cases where previously could take upwards of 10 seconds

⚠️ Breaking Changes

  • API endpoint prefixed around /api/v2
  • Upgraded from Gradle 8 to Gradle 9.6.0
