Ferry v0.9.0 expands Paseo sync from your local machine to remote boxes.

Changes

• Enable the box's global plugin switch after an enabled mapped plugin is synced. Ferry applies the switch with a daemon reload. This also starts enabled box-only plugins. (#158)
• Sync managed npm plugins at their exact installed versions, including scoped packages and plugin subdirectories. Registry authentication stays on the box. (#160)
• Sync metadata model preferences and shared system instructions. Missing local fields keep the box values; explicit empty values clear them. (#159)
• Sync portable provider definitions, model lists, and tool policies before agent profiles and metadata preferences. Credentials, environment blocks, and box-specific runtime settings stay on each host. (#161)
• Sync portable terminal profiles by ID. Preserve box-only profiles and fields, check commands against the daemon PATH, and skip nonportable profiles. (#162)
• Show the new settings in dry-run plans and detect their changes in ferry watch.

Upgrade notes

• These additions apply only to boxes with the Paseo integration enabled.
• Plugin settings and credentials are not copied. The box daemon needs its own Git and npm registry access.
• Removing a terminal profile locally does not remove its box copy. If the box has no saved terminal profile list, Ferry preserves the four Paseo 0.10.1 defaults when it first writes the list.
• Reload support was checked against Paseo 0.10.1. No version changes to package.json are needed; the release tag supplies the binary and npm versions.
