Agentic Design Runtime v2.0.0

ADR v2.0.0 brings the runtime, Studio, MCP adapters, and Codex plugin onto Runtime API 2 and workspace schema 2.

What's included

• Four focused Codex skills for design creation, read-only review, Brand systems, and runtime operations.
• Backup-producing workspace migration, with explicit preview/commit and bounded rollback.
• Improved Studio correction controls, layout containers, wrapped reflow, and cross-format design variants.
• Expanded vector paths, editable SVG import, and vector-only or hybrid SVG export.
• Project-scoped ICC profiles and generic process-CMYK PDF export with DPI, bleed, trim, and crop-mark controls.
• Grapheme-safe text wrapping and explicit language and LTR/RTL intent.
• Native Windows 11 x64 installation and runtime support, including ACL protection, portable process startup, render-health diagnostics, and recoverable uninstall.

Upgrade requirements

Use the matching v2 runtime, MCP adapters, and plugin together. Existing schema-1 workspaces require the explicit stopped-workspace migration described in the documentation. The release never automatically migrates user artwork.

After refreshing the Codex plugin, start a new task to load the new skills and tool surface. Verify SHA256SUMS before installation, then run the platform doctor.

Validation and release method

macOS validation passed 428 unit tests, 4 visual checks, 8 performance checks, 35 browser E2E tests, and fresh packed-install/render-health/uninstall verification. Two Windows-only unit cases and native Windows acceptance remain pending. Windows is included as an owner-accepted release target; this does not claim native Windows testing has passed.

This release is published manually without GitHub Actions. It does not claim npm OIDC or signed build provenance. Included trusted-update and provenance templates are inactive; automatic trusted updates remain disabled.
