Sorry to everyone using Muxly on macOS! I had some time this week to test it more thoroughly on my Mac and found a few issues. Hopefully they're fixed now!
Changed
- Pane search and its floating toolbar fade and slide when opening or closing search, with reduced-motion support and no terminal layout shift.
Fixed
- macOS Control-click keeps terminal text selected when opening a context menu; releasing the opening click no longer activates the trigger or a menu item.
- Resize handles reject secondary mouse buttons, and macOS Control-click no longer resizes panels or moves custom scrollbars.
- Closing a group context menu with Escape restores keyboard focus to the button that opened it.
- Enter and Space on a service's split button open only the new pane without also activating the service card.
- Enter on a confirmation dialog's Cancel button cancels instead of confirming, and held Enter does not confirm a newly opened dialog.
- Terminal search fields retain their editing context menus, and an already-open menu owns its keyboard context-menu events.
- Windows context menus no longer open a native WebView2 menu over Muxly's menu when repeating Shift+F10 or releasing the Menu key after opening a service menu.
- Service-pane search replaces the floating toolbar while open and stays on one compact row within narrow panels, avoiding extra terminal-text overlap and clipping beside a wide sidebar.
- Restarting a pseudo-terminal service preserves previous output in scrollback and starts a fresh screen, preventing startup cursor positioning from overwriting earlier runs.
Downloads
- Windows x64 EXE:
Muxly_0.6.2_x64-setup.exe, the recommended installer. - Windows x64 MSI:
Muxly_0.6.2_x64_en-US.msi, an alternative installer. - macOS Apple Silicon DMG:
Muxly_0.6.2_aarch64.dmg(arm64; Intel Macs are not supported by this build).
Each file's SHA-256 checksum is shown next to it under Assets.
Close Muxly before installing. The Windows installers are unsigned, so Windows may show a publisher or SmartScreen warning. The macOS app is ad-hoc signed, not Developer ID signed or notarized; if macOS blocks the first launch, use System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway.
Build provenance
The Windows installers were built from commit 4161f0171489847a6a878be4ce54c622487fb215 on release/0.6.2; later commits change documentation only. The macOS Apple Silicon installer was built from the release commit db1007d8ae139a334ca1278bd79c1f442256ecb1.
