Changed (breaking, but easy to fix)

  • GitHub widget family moved out of the bundle. The seven GitHub widgets (github_core, github_actions, github_activity, github_contributions, github_pr_queue, github_releases, github_repo) are no longer bundled and live in the community catalog. Reinstall via Settings → Widgets → Browse community widgets → Install GitHub.

    Why: continues the bundle slim-down (F1 in 0.38.0, Spotify in 0.39.0). All seven need a personal access token to do anything useful; the typical user, especially a non-developer HA user, never enables them. Marketplace is the right home.
