Sidecar 1.15.8
Sidecar 1.15.8 fixes how notes are tagged and posted.
🏷️ Mentions and quotes written in the full-size composer reach the people in them. They now carry the same tags as notes written in the panel, so the person is notified and the quote links to its note. The full-size composer also follows the client-tag setting.
📋 A pasted npub or nevent counts as a mention or a quote. You no longer need to type nostr: in front; Sidecar adds it when you post.
👤 The full-size composer’s preview shows people’s names instead of npubs.
⏱️ A post can no longer get stuck on “Found it. Posting…”. A relay that doesn’t answer within 12 seconds is skipped, and the screen counts the seconds while it posts.
🍊 The default avatar’s orange slice sits in the middle of the circle everywhere.
