LUNA v1.2.7 beta

LUNA v1.2.7 beta includes the complete FMCB application for a memory card in slot 1. It packages the launcher, Neutrino runtime, configuration, modules, and a one-minute ambient soundtrack.

What's new

• Added a new options screen with global settings
• Added an experimental global settings choice between the stars-and-cubes background and ambient orbs on a black background.
• Added ambient music that loops across the library and options screens. It starts On and can be turned Off in Global settings.

Known issues

-Options screen may display artifacts with some setups
-Pre games settings may not fully save
-Experimental features cause slowdowns

Install

Increased size due to ambient music.
Extract LUNA-v1.2.7-beta-FMCB-mc0.zip, copy the complete APP_LUNA folder to mc0:/APP_LUNA, and point the FMCB menu entry to mc0:/APP_LUNA/luna.elf. The folder uses about 2.26 MB on the memory card. Games, artwork, and writable library state remain on the internal ATA/exFAT drive.

Beta testing

The hardware ELF built successfully, the ZIP passed package and checksum verification, and LUNA v1.2.7 beta passes hardware testing.

LUNA v1.2.0 RC1

This release contains a complete FMCB package for a memory card in slot 1. It includes the LUNA launcher, the matching Neutrino runtime, configuration, modules, licenses, installation guide, and checksums.

Library views and controls

• Smoothed Classic scrolling and cover transitions, added a PNG scrollbar, and adjusted cover spacing.
• Refined Collection cover flow, Favorites filtering, and tap/hold navigation. L2/R2 now fast-scan the collection; other shoulder presses no longer trigger Collection actions.
• Refined Grid shoulder paging and Orbit scanning, and remember the last selected library view between launches.
• Updated storage scanning so ATA and HDL are detected when available while USB and other external backends follow the selected mode: setting.

Interface

• Replaced the four face-button prompts

Settings and runtime

• Fixed per-game settings save and reload.
• Corrected the FMCB return path to mc0:/APP_LUNA/luna.elf.
• Updated in-game return handling to act on the first detected frame and keep DEV9 powered during the return path.

Packaging

• Added support for versioned release-candidate packages and ensured the bundled README names this package correctly.

Install

Download LUNA-v1.2.0-rc.1-FMCB-mc0.zip, extract it, and copy the complete APP_LUNA folder to mc0:/APP_LUNA. Add mc0:/APP_LUNA/luna.elf to the FMCB menu.

Verify the download with SHA256SUMS.txt.

LUNA now scans USB game libraries when APP_LUNA/luna.yaml selects mode: usb. The bundled configuration still selects mode: ata; change that line before installing if your games are on USB.

The FMCB package also uses ZIP paths that extract correctly on Linux. The package includes the launcher, Neutrino runtime, configuration, modules, and licenses.

Copy APP_LUNA to mc0:/ as described in the included README.

Installation

Download LUNA-FMCB-mc0.zip, extract it, and copy the complete APP_LUNA folder to the root of an FMCB memory card in slot 1. Add mc0:/APP_LUNA/luna.elf to the FMCB menu. See the repository README for complete setup and drive-preparation instructions.

The packaged configuration requires a fat PlayStation 2 with an internal ATA/exFAT drive.
