Description
The Docker Desktop Linux overview appears to have a support-policy inconsistency with the Debian-specific installation page.
The Linux installation overview states:
Docker supports Docker Desktop on the current and previous LTS releases of the aforementioned distributions, as well as the most recent version.
However, the Debian installation page currently states:
Have a 64-bit version of Debian 12.
This creates ambiguity for users on Debian 11. The general statement appears to imply that the previous supported release should also be supported, while the Debian-specific page only lists Debian 12.
I also found that Debian 11 was previously listed in debian.md and was changed to Debian 12 in #18287.
Expected behavior
The documentation should clearly communicate which Debian releases are supported by Docker Desktop.
Could you clarify whether the "current and previous LTS releases" policy applies to Debian as well?
If Debian 11 is not supported, the overview wording may need to be clarified so that it does not imply Debian 11 is supported.
If Debian 11 is supported, the Debian installation page should be updated accordingly.
