Multi is a standalone coding-agent CLI built on the Pi runtime. It adds remote machines over SSH, automatic file checkpoints with rewind, and an MCP server store, all inside one terminal session.

Multi keeps an isolated profile at ~/.multi/agent; it does not load your Pi
or shared agent extensions, themes, skills, settings, or sessions.

/mns finds hosts from ~/.ssh/config. Add one with Enter, set its remote
project directory with Ctrl+W, or press Ctrl+N to create a new SSH
connection manually. Each machine gives the agent its own bash, read, write,
and edit tools while the files stay on that machine.

Every bash, edit, and write that changes files creates a silent
checkpoint. Run /rewind when you want to return the working tree to an
earlier moment.
Choose a checkpoint and Multi restores its files, including removing files created later. The private checkpoint store never changes your repository's branch or index, and even a rewind can be undone with another rewind.
/mcps searches the official MCP registry without leaving the terminal.
Enter installs a secret-free server, Ctrl+K adds one that needs credentials,
and Ctrl+D twice removes an installed server.
