What's inside
- Playground: two hovering horsehair strings with side-stop pads, tsatsal harmonics, a bow pad, keyboard and MIDI input, and techniques from pizzicato to the horse whinny.
- Beat Maker: 4×4 technique pads and a horse-gait step sequencer (Joroo, Töwöö, gallop grooves), WAV/MIDI export.
- Song Tester: numbered notation and staff, physical verification of every note, an automatic pitch test, MIDI/MusicXML import (e.g. from MuseScore) with automatic string, finger and bow.
- Playing styles: Khalkh stage, Long song (urtiin duu), Tatlaga, Bii/ikel, Inner Mongolian — the unwritten ornaments, vibrato and bowing that players add, from Mongolian, Chinese, English and Russian sources and calibrated on a conservatory recording.
- Playlist: popular morin khuur pieces with links to original performances, A/B against your own copy of a recording, automatic comparison, a blind listening test and exportable feedback.
- Studio: four-track arrangement (lead, rhythm, tovshuur, khöömii) with stems and WAV export.
Every sound is synthesised in real time; no samples are used. Feedback from musicians and teachers is very welcome: open an issue.
