Improved concurrency, failure recovery, remote synchronization, and SQL query planning.

Reliability and correctness

  • Fixed stale session state and reader/writer coordination during commits, rollbacks, fetches, and garbage collection.
  • Improved recovery after failed version-control operations, preventing partial changes and lost concurrent writes.
  • Corrected schema merges and cherry-picks involving column drops, renames, and defaults; preserved complete table-diff history across merges.
  • Improved remote tracking refs, revision pushes, argument validation, and handling of slow or disconnected HTTP clients.
  • Fixed backup and serialization during concurrent writes; preserved database permissions and improved VACUUM INTO durability.
  • Corrected UTF-16 handling for SQLite-format databases and preserved URI options when opening branches.
  • Added --author support to dolt_merge().

Performance and testing

  • Accelerated correlated IN queries over integer primary keys.
  • Expanded SQLite compatibility, concurrency, recovery, remote synchronization, and Dolt oracle regression coverage.
