Agentaps 0.5.2 is available from GitHub installers and crates.io. With the native build dependencies installed, use cargo install agentaps --version 0.5.2 --locked.

Added

  • A Ghostty terminal drawer, enabled by default, opens a local shell per session on macOS and Linux Wayland. Toggle it from the bottom-right corner beneath the composer or with configurable Ctrl+T, resize it with a draggable divider, and keep its shell and height when hidden or switching sessions. Colors follow the app theme live. Standard development environments and desktop builds include the terminal dependencies. Shell exit, including Ctrl+D at an empty prompt, closes the drawer and returns focus to the composer; reopening starts a fresh shell at the previous height.

Fixed

  • Installation guidance uses current GitHub releases or source checkouts, explains the crates.io publishing blockers, and lists Ubuntu native build dependencies. Website fallback downloads point to 0.5.1.

  • Session scrollbars show a light blue thumb on transparent tracks without a shaded background or border.

  • Split panes resize correctly from either side of thin separators.

  • Narrow chat panes keep session titles readable by moving project and diff controls onto a second header row.

  • Keep the Active session marker readable against sidebar selection colors in light and dark themes.

Changed

  • The selected pane's accent highlight line appears along its bottom edge.

  • Desktop builds use the published native-theme-gpui 0.6.0 release, and the shared Web Connect protocol has registry publishing metadata so current Agentaps releases can return to crates.io. Linux CI validates both packages without uploading them.

  • Remove the Active and Open text badges from sidebar sessions shown in panes.

  • The terminal toggle sits at the bottom-right corner beneath the composer and defaults to Ctrl+T.

  • Terminal usage and build requirements live in a dedicated guide, keeping the README concise.

  • Empty checkout diffs show a disabled Diff button without +0 and -0 totals.

  • Show checkout diff totals in every open chat pane, mark the active pane with an accent line, and distinguish Active and Open sessions in the sidebar.

  • Reuse the active checkout’s diff watcher for pane totals instead of rescanning it on the background polling timer.

Installers for Linux x64, Apple Silicon macOS, and Windows x64 are attached with SHA-256 checksums. The macOS app is ad hoc signed and the Windows installer is unsigned. The terminal is enabled by default on macOS and Linux Wayland. See the terminal guide for Linux runtime and build dependencies.
