@github-actions github-actions released this 16 Sep 01:54

Air Bladder 0.1.23

Requires Foundry VTT 14.365 or higher.

  • Four buttons at the top of the Rollable Tables sidebar copy the shipped compendium tables into your world: the Spell Table, the Marketplace, the Barebones creation tables, and the Backgrounds with their Bonds, Omens, Scars and trait tables, that last one also at the top of the Compendium tab. Each lands in a Custom… folder with every item its rows point at, and a result window opens what it made
  • Every table the generators roll is read from your world first: a world table with the shipped name replaces it, for traits, NPC and monster tables, Barebones creation, Scars and the random-spell table alike, the rule Bonds and Omens already followed
  • A customizable marketplace: a world table named Market: Gear (or Weapons, Armor, Transports & Containers) replaces that aisle and a new Market: name adds one; a dropped item lands in alphabetical order
  • Every table Air Bladder reads carries a note on its sheet saying what reads it and how to add a row, and warns when two world tables share a name; a flat-die table's formula follows its rows
  • The random-spell pool is a table, Spells — Canon (1d100), so a world copy of it changes what generated characters carry; Spells — GLOG ships for the hack
  • Take a shipped background out of play with the eye toggle in the background pick-list
  • Your own backgrounds compendium is created as Custom 2e Backgrounds; a world that already has one keeps its name
  • Removed: the More Spellbooks compendium (0.1.22 was the last release to ship it; a world that imported from it keeps its copies) and the Reseed a Spell Table button, replaced by Create a Custom Spell Table…
  • The Grimoire and GLOG checkboxes show only while the GLOG hack is on, and the Grimoire box only on an item that already is one
  • A date change is guarded: Set the Date… previews the destination and its distance in days, and the calendar asks before moving the world to a clicked day
  • The four Create a Custom… buttons are greyed while one is working, and the Actor Directory's buttons wrap instead of clipping at a large font size
  • Fixed: dates before Vald's year 7728 lost their weekday and broke the calendar grid
  • Fixed: a scar recorded from damage now ticks its box on the character sheet
  • Fixed: three chat cards showed players the contents of private Warden rolls, and the change log now reads in each viewer's language
  • Fixed: after paging the calendar, Add an event… and Set to this day act on the day shown, and the confirm opens on Cancel
  • Fixed: the monster generator reads a dragged-in table row as plain text
  • If you ran the dev branch before this release and pressed Create Custom 2e Backgrounds and Tables…, delete your world's Scars table and press the button again

The Warden's Dashboard

  • Every Warden roll table on a button, in one resizable, detachable window — travel and weather, encounters by terrain, NPCs, factions, monsters, and any table you have made yourself.
  • Guide

Keeping time

  • The current watch is displayed on everyone's screen above the player list. The Warden moves the clock from the Dashboard.
  • Roll Today's Weather rolls the table for whatever season the world is in.
  • Optional hack: Vald's own calendar — twelve months, a six-day week, and the Dead, Dry, Wet, and Harvest seasons with a weather table each. Anyone can open a month grid from the clock.
  • Optional: a weather log written to a journal the whole table can read, and the Warden's own days marked on the calendar.
  • Guide

Rolled your character on paper?

  • Creating a PC, NPC, or Hireling asks for confirmation and offers the option to turn off random generation for that character. Turning it off produces an empty sheet with the pick-lists available.
  • Create Faction asks too, and because a faction has no sheet, the lists are in the dialog — pick a Type, an Agent, two Traits, an Agenda, an Obstacle, and up to four Advantages.

Giving items to other players

  • A player can offer an item to anything they can see — another character, an NPC, a hireling, a mule, a crate — using a button on the item's inventory row or by dragging it onto the target's sheet.
  • The offer is a chat card the other player accepts or declines. Accepting into a full pack over-burdens them, after a warning.
  • Anyone who owns an actor can give from it, so the Warden no longer has to transfer items for the party.

Tokens and sheets

  • The Create Actor dialog warns that NPC and Hireling actors are linked to their tokens.
  • A new guide covers both routes and where Link Actor Data lives: Tokens and sheets

Requires Foundry VTT v14.365 or higher.

Air Bladder 0.1.20

Requires Foundry VTT 14.365 or higher.

  • Players can hand items to each other: give from the inventory row or drag onto another character's sheet, and the other player accepts or declines from a chat card
  • Initiative saves post to the table regardless of the roll-mode dropdown, and the card shows pass or fail
  • Every trait row gets its own die in Character Creation Mode
  • New setting: hide rolled traits and age on character sheets and printouts
  • Lydia Comer's art: 23 character portraits join the picker on PC, NPC and Hireling sheets, five new monsters (22 in all), and her galleries are now CC BY-NC-SA 4.0
  • Feeding a Kettlewright export to core's Import Data now says to use Import from Kettlewright instead
  • Fixed: pick-list dialogs opened with no option visibly selected until the first click
  • Fixed: a crafted GLOG cast message could run script on other players' clients
  • Fixed: initiative save cards read in the viewer's language

Back up your world before upgrading. Existing worlds move Lydia Comer's monster portraits to their new folder on the Warden's first load.

@github-actions github-actions released this 03 Sep 02:22

Air Bladder 0.1.19

Requires Foundry v14.365 or higher.

  • Players can import their own Kettlewright characters (a Warden must be logged in)
  • Roll Character asks what to keep — a checklist of every re-rollable part
  • Character Creation Mode: pick-lists beside every die, so you can choose instead of roll
  • Custom bonds: a world table named "Bonds" replaces the shipped one; new Customizing Bonds guide
  • Works with the Torch module — ships a ready-made light-source file and a setup guide
  • Fixed: changing a portrait updates that character's tokens on every map
  • Fixed: a Limited viewer of a character sheet sees only the portrait and name
  • Fixed: failed encounter placement is reported

@github-actions github-actions released this 24 Aug 03:34

Air Bladder 0.1.18

Requires Foundry VTT v14.365 or higher.

  • NPCs and Hirelings are two roles again: a Hireling has a Career, For Hire and a Day Rate; an NPC has a Background from the Warden's Guide table plus Quirk, Goal, Virtue and Vice — two directory buttons, one guide: Generating NPCs and Hirelings
  • A generated NPC rolls 3d6 abilities and 1d6 HP, and arrives carrying its Background's gear plus the full Barebones kit (weapon, armor, rations, torch, additional gear); Lords and Politicians arrive with nothing
  • Generation never chooses pronouns — the field is left blank on every generated person
  • Generated loadouts arrive arranged: weapons, armor, spellbooks and scrolls, everything else, light sources with their fuel, Rations last; new acquisitions append at the bottom
  • Drag-to-reorder inventory is always on; the Enable inventory reordering setting is retired
  • Game Settings move behind four submenus — General, Character Generation, Inventory & Encumbrance, GLOG & Other Hacks — with hints shown under every row, a Reset Defaults button per menu, and settings search still finding them
  • A Warden-editable Age formula replaces the minimum/maximum age settings (#21) — default 2d20 + 10; the Dice Formulas guide covers keep-highest, minimums, maximums and recipes
  • Per-category custom portrait folders (#18): pc, npc, monster and companion folders inside your custom portrait folder become that category's pool; monsters and companions can now wear custom art — guide: Using Your Own Portraits
  • New Vald compendium: the Warden's Guide setting chapter as a nine-page journal; journal page titles are translated too
  • Token names follow the actor's name on rename — but only tokens still wearing the old name; a token you named yourself keeps its name
  • A relic's Recharge condition shows in the expanded inventory row (#22)
  • Magnifying-glass pickers beside Career, Background and Faction on person sheets — choose instead of rolling; they follow the Randomization toggle
  • A player with Limited permission on an NPC sees only portrait, name and description; the dice on NPC sheets are the Warden's alone
  • NPC and Hireling sheets open on the Items tab; the Description editor shows a placeholder and reads as a field
  • Printed sheet: Background above Traits, and every footer ends with where the sheet came from
  • The Spanish interface translation by Malecho covers 90% of the strings — the READMEs had said 72%
  • Fixed: a chat card's header showed a creature's untranslated name over a translated card
  • Fixed: a spent spellscroll refilled itself on any edit of its sheet
  • Fixed: switching content sources in one save could switch the old one back on with a false warning
  • Fixed: Die of Fate was disabled on locked (compendium) sheets
  • Fixed: the generation-rolls chat card showed the Warden's language to the requesting player
  • Fixed: the Reseed dialog listed world tables by their untranslated names
  • Fixed: a hireling's career printed in English on a Spanish sheet
  • Fixed: journal page search did not match translated page titles
  • Fixed: the age formula silently accepted @ references and rolled them as 0
  • Fixed: turning GLOG Magic on posted a ledger card for every converted spellbook
  • Fixed: changing the dice notation setting prompted a world reload for nothing
  • Fixed: the art-path migration re-read every compendium on every load; it now runs once
  • Fixed: setting hints never rendered

Back up your world before upgrading. This release migrates every existing NPC-role person to the Hireling role (nothing on any sheet disappears); an NPC the party merely meets can be re-roled to NPC by hand on its sheet.

@github-actions github-actions released this 19 Aug 22:27
  • GLOG Magic now ships with a Warden's guide, in docs/ and as an in-game System Docs journal
  • A Grimoire is created already named and keeps its own pages; duplicating one no longer takes another's
  • New Warden switch: Show omens on character sheets — hides the Omen field on the sheet and the printed page
  • New Warden switch: grant-source tags on the printed page
  • The character sheet and the printed page both carry the For Use With Cairn stamp
  • A custom background's credit line is an editable field now, shown on the sheet and on the printed page
  • The custom portrait folder can contain folders
  • Generated NPCs and monsters are drawn from the Tlomdev gallery
  • The Warden Macros compendium sits in its own folder in the sidebar
  • The printed page prints with real paper margins, and without the browser's header and page numbers
  • A roll table dragged to the hotbar rolls it now, rather than opening its sheet
  • Journals are translatable, and the Cairn 2e rules ship as readable pages
  • Spanish: Malecho's interface translation now covers GLOG Magic and the Warden's encounter tables
  • Spanish: world directories, the combat tracker, the compendium sidebar search and the GLOG cast card all read the translation
  • Fixed: a table reseed that failed part-way emptied the table it was reseeding
  • Fixed: cancelling a spellscroll cast did nothing, and threw
  • Fixed: dragging text or a file onto the hotbar threw, and a locked hotbar still accepted drops
  • Fixed: the background authoring form dropped characters typed after tabbing to the next field
  • Fixed: an expanded item description closed itself whenever anything on the sheet was edited
  • Fixed: double-clicking an item row did nothing on a sheet you can only read
  • Fixed: an NPC sheet's title kept the old role after the role was changed
  • Fixed: converting a spellbook into a scroll lost its folder and who it was shared with
  • Fixed: the marketplace renamed the player it was refusing
  • Fixed: a character could be handed the same bond twice
  • Fixed: the Hexenbane's short sword rolled the wrong die
  • Fixed: the Fletchwind's wood gear is named as bows
  • Fixed: printing a one-page character no longer emits a blank second page
  • Fixed: the printed sheet repeated the same line three times
  • Fixed: the printed page names a monster the way the sheet does
  • Fixed: a granted mount kept its origin line after being renamed

  • Spanish: fsmalecho's updated spell translations (PR #15)
  • Fixed: 158 Spanish interface translations lost in an earlier update are restored
  • Fixed: on the printable sheet, Notes no longer starts at the very bottom of a page — it keeps room for five lines or moves to the next page

  • GLOG Magic (optional): the official Cairn GLOG hack behind a Warden switch — carry a found Grimoire, bind spells into its pages, cast with 1–4 Magic Dice, doubles draw a Mishap
  • 100 GLOG spells ship as the GLOG Spellscrolls compendium, plus the Mishaps table and a player handout
  • Flipping GLOG on converts every spellbook and spellscroll in the world; a spellscroll still casts on its own
  • Encounter tables: seven terrain d6 tables with an Add to Scene button on the drawn card — build your own by typing the dice and dragging the monster in
  • Chat-card buttons take an in-flight lock, so a double-click can't apply damage or Fatigue twice
  • Enriched sheet fields are sanitized, and item sheets refuse ActiveEffect drops
  • Spanish content translation updated by Malecho — whose casting macro also shaped the GLOG cast flow

0.1.14

  • Change ledger: hand edits on a sheet whisper a change card to the Warden; Rest and Restore Abilities sign their cards; quantity and uses changes are recorded too
  • New Warden setting: auto-record scars — a scar rolled in combat is checked on the PC's sheet (off by default)
  • Warden switches, each with a macro: player marketplace, player Generate PC, and player randomization can be toggled live (new Macros compendium)
  • Combat tracker: drag combatants to reorder them within their bucket; the popped-out tracker keeps its dividers
  • Notes editor is discoverable: empty notes read as a click-to-edit field, with a visible pencil
  • Whisper messages match the parchment chat theme, with a teal stripe marking them private
  • Barebones: the three header lines are one size; changing background re-rolls a colliding failed career
  • A shop Torch now arrives with its three uses; a greyed Rest button explains why (Deprived)
  • Printing: spellbook prefixes kept; works behind a route prefix
  • Fixes: Burial Wagon's coffin art restored, Warden-only packs hidden from the players' sidebar, the instant roll asks before creating a character, assorted label and plural corrections
  • Compendium pack names are now translatable
