v1.14.0
Stats you can drill into (players and rounds), a first-visit How it works, clearer options, report-a-problem link, gear-only header, no sign-in flicker
What's Changed
- CI and tests from the Copilot review; Android builds unsigned until signing is set up by @dominikpeter in #2
- Release v1.14.0 by @dominikpeter in #3
Full Changelog: v1.13.0...v1.14.0
v1.13.0
- Playful animations: confetti in your theme's colors when the crew catches the imposter; the imposter's mask sneaks off with a wink when they get away; the face-down card wiggles to invite a tap; the speaker's mic pulses like it's live; votes pop in; the coffee thank-you heart beats. All of it respects reduced motion.
- AI: gpt-6-luna through OpenRouter's official AI SDK provider, on OpenAI's priority tier, with OpenAI direct as an instant fallback.
- Fixed: email sign-in now shows even when no Google/GitHub login is set up.
- Coffee: TWINT removed (Stripe/TWINT don't accept this business type); card, Apple Pay and Google Pay stay.
- How releases work now: work happens on
dev; every change reachesmainthrough a pull request with green CI (lint, types, unit, e2e) and a GitHub Copilot code review; merging a version bump deploys to whoislying.ch from GitHub Actions, tags it and starts the iOS build.

Full Changelog: v1.12.2...v1.13.0
v1.12.2
- AI fallback is instant: when OpenRouter refuses a call (e.g. its 20-requests-per-minute cap for new accounts), OpenAI answers right away instead of after ~6 s of retries. Tested with 40 simultaneous calls: all answered, 20 via the fallback.
v1.12.1
- AI is gpt-6-luna again, via OpenRouter on OpenAI's priority tier, with OpenAI direct as automatic fallback (keeps working when OpenRouter's per-minute cap is hit).
- Keeps the v1.12.0 fixes: the AI never turns the secret word into the imposter's clue, and explanations always come in the right language.
- gpt-oss-120b (Zettelispiil's model) is available by setting OPENROUTER_MODEL=openai/gpt-oss-120b.
v1.12.0
- AI now runs on gpt-oss-120b via OpenRouter, routed to the fastest host: explanations in ~0.2–0.6 s (was ~1 s), word checks ~1.2 s, no per-account request cap. gpt-6-luna at OpenAI takes over automatically if OpenRouter fails.
- Fixed: the word check could turn the secret word itself into the imposter's clue when the writer left the clue empty.
- Fixed: explanations sometimes came back in the wrong language.
v1.11.0
- Arosa (blue and sun yellow) is now the default color theme.
- Room codes are randomly 5 or 6 characters (was always 5) — the QR scanner, join field and share links all updated.
- Settings stays open after signing in (email code or Google/GitHub/Microsoft), so you see you're signed in instead of the sheet vanishing.
- Fixed: an open-redirect in the coffee checkout, and room codes could be probed past the join rate limit.
- Fixed: Swiss-German spelling (ss, never ß) is now applied reliably in the word check.
- iOS and Android release workflows (GitHub Actions) fixed and hardened: correct Xcode project reference, signing, versioning, and a pinned third-party upload action.
v1.10.0
- Proactive "add to home screen" banner on phones (Android install prompt, iOS Share hint) — shown once, never covers the Start game button.
- Fixed: the setup screen's decorative flavor word now matches the app's own language, not the (possibly different) secret-word language.
- AI can run on OpenRouter (set OPENROUTER_API_KEY); benchmarked models and kept gpt-6-luna for reliable word checks.
- GitHub Actions to build and release the iOS (TestFlight) and Android (Play Store) apps from CI, no local Xcode/Android SDK needed.
- Settings and dark-mode buttons stay pinned top-right while scrolling.
just secret NAMEstores any secret hidden in .env.local and Vercel.
v1.9.0
- Buy me a coffee in Settings: CHF 1 / 5 / 10 or a custom amount, via Stripe (card, TWINT, Apple Pay, Google Pay). Shown as Imposter by Zettelispiil; hidden in the store apps.
- AI can run on OpenRouter (set OPENROUTER_API_KEY); benchmarked models and kept gpt-6-luna for reliable word checks.
- Settings and dark-mode buttons stay pinned top-right while scrolling.
- Shorter 'Imposter can guess' setting label; setting labels wrap in line with their text.

v1.8.0
- Sign in with email: a 6-digit code by mail (Resend), in the app's language. No Google/GitHub account needed.
- Codes are hashed in Redis, 3 tries per code, rate limited per IP and per address, plus a daily mail cap.
- Sessions live in Redis and extend while you play.
- Arosa colour theme: sun-yellow accents and golden borders.
