• Unlocking could leave macOS's secure-input mode stuck with loginwindow, silently starving every key-listening app on the Mac (brightness keys, input-source switchers) until the screen was locked and unlocked again — the authentication context is now torn down explicitly, and if macOS still leaves the mode stuck, Pharos detects it and explains the gesture that clears it.
• After unlocking, the lock shortcut (⇧⌘L by default) needed two presses to lock again — the lock's input shield was swallowing the shortcut's own release events, so the system believed it was still held down.
