• Full Native Internal Bluetooth Support: Connect your PS5 DualSense or DualShock 4 wirelessly to the PS3's built-in Bluetooth radio without requiring any external USB dongles or adapters.
• Physical PS / Home Button Recovery: Direct passive kernel memory monitoring via Syscall 6 (sys_cfw_peek), capturing raw incoming Bluetooth HID reports from kernel memory (bt_work) to recover the physical PS button (Byte 8 Bit 0) stripped by the standard generic driver.
• Complete In-Game PS Menu Navigation: The in-game XMB overlay is 100% interactive over Bluetooth (Circle to close, Cross to select, D-Pad/sticks to move).
• Seamless Auto Mode (MODE = AUTO): Plug in via USB for charging & low latency play, or unplug to seamlessly switch to wireless Bluetooth.
• Clean In-Game Input: In games and apps (multiMAN, retro emulators, PS3 titles), input operates cleanly as Player 1 without ghost controllers or duplicate player conflicts.

📦 Installation

Copy the contents of ps3_ready/ or extract DualSense-PS3-v1.1.0.zip into /dev_hdd0/plugins/ds45pad/ on your PS3, and add /dev_hdd0/plugins/ds45pad/ds45pad_vsh.sprx to /dev_hdd0/boot_plugins.txt.

v1.0.1 - In-Game Start (Options) & Select (Create) Fix

What's Changed in v1.0.1

• Fixed In-Game Start (Options) & Select (Create) Buttons: In previous versions, the Options button did not trigger START inside games (title screens would get stuck on "Press START").
• Technical Fix (INSERT_INTO_GAME = 1): Enabled in-game LDD controller data injection via Syscall 573 (sys_pad_ldd_set_insert_mode). Games now receive full DS45 virtual controller data with properly mapped DS45_CTRL_START (Options) and DS45_CTRL_SELECT (Create).
• Combo Toggle Enabled (ALLOW_INSERT_COMBO = 1): You can now toggle in-game injection on/off at any time using the gamepad combo CREATE + OPTIONS + R3.
• Hardware Verified: Tested and verified 100% working on actual PS3 Super Slim running PS3HEN 4.93!

Installation

1. Download DualSense-PS3-v1.0.1.zip.
2. Extract and copy the plugins/ds45pad/ folder to /dev_hdd0/plugins/ds45pad/ on your PS3 internal hard drive.
3. Make sure /dev_hdd0/boot_plugins.txt contains:
   ext /dev_hdd0/plugins/ds45pad/ds45pad_vsh.sprx
4. Reboot your PS3 (and enable HEN if on PS3HEN).

Quick Install

1. Extract the attached zip.
2. Copy the plugins/ds45pad/ folder to /dev_hdd0/plugins/ds45pad/.
3. Add /dev_hdd0/plugins/ds45pad/ds45pad_vsh.sprx to /dev_hdd0/boot_plugins.txt.
4. Reboot your PS3, connect your DualSense via USB, and enjoy!
