Toolchain v0.6.2 / Manifest specification 0.5.0.

This patch was driven by the six-Pod Action SDK pilot. Legacy or malformed Manifest collection shapes now produce structured schema_validation results instead of crashing action-parity validate, doctor, or agent context. In particular, the old object-shaped bindings form that surfaced in PodApp is now diagnosed safely.

ActionParity toolchain v0.6.1 supports Manifest specification 0.5.0. These are independent version identities; v0.6.1 is a compatible patch, not a new Manifest revision.

What changed

• Added action-parity --version --json so Codex, Claude Code, Hermes, and other agents can read the toolchain version, current Manifest specification, and supported Manifest versions without guessing.
• Added the public versioning contract and documented why toolchain tags jumped from v0.1.0 to v0.6.0: versions 0.2–0.5 were specification iterations, while v0.6.0 was the first packaged executable toolchain.
• Corrected README and release-channel status after the first GitHub release.
• Strengthened the release gate so package, CLI, Manifest Schema, Cargo workspace, installed tarball, and generated artifacts must agree.
• Upgraded GitHub validation to current Node 24-runtime Actions, removing the Node 20 action-runtime deprecation warning.

ActionParity toolchain v0.6.0 supports Manifest specification 0.5.0. These are separate version identities.

Why the public tag jumped from v0.1.0

Versions 0.2.0 through 0.5.0 were specification iterations recorded in the changelog and repository history, not separately installable toolchain releases. Version 0.6.0 was the first release containing the executable Action Registry, generators, verifier, adapters, and packaged CLI. The historical tags will not be moved or backfilled; normal patch/minor sequencing starts here, with v0.6.1 as the next compatible patch.
