TDPdf v2.0.2.0

Fixes: your work survives removing links and rearranging pages, filled-in forms print correctly, and saved files always end in .pdf.

Your edits stay

  • Remove Link from PDF no longer throws away unsaved annotations.
  • Rotating, deleting or reordering pages, or removing a link, no longer empties form fields you filled in since your last save.
  • Printing a filled-in form without saving it first now prints what you typed.

Saving

  • If you type a name like report.v2 or scan.jpg in Save As, Save Flattened, Extract Pages or Save Searchable PDF, TDPdf adds .pdf, and asks before replacing a file that already has that name.
  • After a Redact or a text edit on a digitally signed PDF, saving over the original asks first, as any other save of a signed PDF does.

For administrators

  • /install and /uninstall return specific Windows exit codes: 5 (access denied), 112 (disk full), 1223 (cancelled) and 1618 (another install is running, which Intune retries). Before, every failure returned 1. See docs/intune-distribution.md.
  • If Windows blocks the text library, moving the pointer over a page no longer shows a crash dialog.

Accessibility

  • Screen readers now announce the sidebar toggle and several close buttons that had no name.
  • The keyboard shortcuts overlay shows which button has keyboard focus.
