Initial Release

  • Global hotkey (default Ctrl+Alt+R) to read any selected text aloud; press again to stop
  • Automatic language detection — switches between English and Spanish voices
  • GPU acceleration — CUDA with fp16 model on NVIDIA GPUs; falls back to CPU with int8 automatically
  • Settings window — configure hotkey, English/Spanish voices, and speed with live audio preview
  • System tray — dynamic icon (red = idle, green = speaking) with right-click menu
  • Auto-update — checks GitHub Releases for new versions on startup

Download

Download the portable zip, extract anywhere, and run TinyReadAloud.exe. Model files (~200 MB) download automatically on first launch to %LOCALAPPDATA%\TinyReadAloud\.
