Page editor Newest content appearing last in content lists on left component panel

Problem Statement

When selecting a content type and the > button to show the latest content....

...the content listing should show the NEWEST content added for that content type but for some reason it is showing the oldest content first (see below)

Steps to Reproduce

1. Go to the demo site and add a few new activities contentlets
2. Go to the homepage and click the activities content type in the left hand component panel
3. Notice that the new content appears last instead of first in the panel

Acceptance Criteria

The newest content should appear first before needing to search filter for any content
