Can not to select .net core application instance in perfmon.exe

Hi.

I am using perfmon.exe for view my custom performance counters. It's working fine for .net framework applications but for .net core applications, application instance for my custom counters always absent and i can not to view my custom counters in perfmon.exe. I reference Windows Compatibility Pack for .NET Core but it is useless.

Is it performance counters limitations that they can use only with .net framework but not with .net core?

If you are using the Windows Compatibility Pack to produce your own custom counters, then that should work. The main limitation is that the .NET Framework performance counters were not ported to .NET Core.
