Mac

The overlay. A small glass panel over your call: the last thing said,
and on hover the last conclusion, the facts and figures, and the last
question with its answer. Answers come only from earlier in the call or from
your own notes, and say which. Off by default; Settings ▸ General ▸ Overlay.
Live text as it is spoken, not when a phrase ends, in the overlay's pill
and in the live transcript file.
Recordings of a room are split by voice. Turn on "My microphone records
a room" and each voice gets a number or a remembered name, live and in the
finished document.
The other side of a call without Screen Recording. System audio comes
through an ordinary Allow dialog now, which is what a managed Mac needed.
A recording survives a restart. Quit, crash or update mid-meeting and it
picks the same recording back up. A meeting that ended up in pieces anyway
can be put back together, and a new recording never waits for the last one
to finish processing.
Muting in your call app no longer looks like a dead microphone, and
Transcripts no longer switches microphones chasing it.
The self-test checks the microphone and system audio together, the way a
recording uses them. Before, it could report no system audio on a Mac whose
calls recorded both sides.
It installs itself: open it from Downloads and it offers to move into your
own Applications folder.

iPhone and iPad

Rename, archive and delete transcripts the Mac filed, not just recordings
still waiting to be picked up.
Recording notices interruptions through the audio session: a phone call,
Siri, an alarm or another app. CallKit is gone, so the app can be offered in
every storefront it is listed in.

Both

Every turn carries the time it was spoken, and clicking one plays the audio
from there.
