v0.2.0 — product-design skill set

Choose a tag to compare

@doughawk25 doughawk25 released this 25 Aug 21:34

Adds the product-design skill set: 31 skills adapted from mattpocock/skills (MIT) for product designers, design engineers, and design team leads — a full fragment → brief → explore → prototype → crit → spec → handoff flow with on-ramps, upkeep, and vocabulary layers. Start with ask-doug, the router. See SOURCES.md for the per-skill origin map.

New in this release vs the adapted originals: diagnosing-ui-bugs (front-end bug diagnosis) and frontend-code-review (two-axis front-end code review); grill-with-docs folded into grill-me.

Every .skill file below is an individually downloadable packaged skill. Or install via CLI:

First public release.

Skills included (each .skill file below is an individually downloadable packaged skill — save into a Claude profile, or unzip to get the skill folder):

  • make-a-plan — brief-first planning front door: interview, confirmed brief before any code, approved plan, delegated execution, plain-language wrap-up
  • design-system-guardrails — compose UI only from your design system's existing components and tokens; flags gaps and files component requests instead of inventing one-offs
