Scrollr's paper-cuts release: everything the launch runthrough flagged as "almost right" got its polish pass — headlined by a catalog that finally does the widgets justice. And the Mac is back: v1.1.0's macOS build was held up by an Apple paperwork snag, so this is the first 1.1.x you can download for Apple Silicon, fully signed and notarized.

  • Every widget has a real page now. Click any catalog card and you get a full product page — a brand-colored hero, a live-style preview of the widget in your ticker, quick facts, step-by-step usage, and a "More like this" row for finding your next add. Adding, opening, configuring, and removing all happen right there.
  • The catalog splits into "Your widgets" and "Discover new widgets." What you run and what you could add are separate sections, with sorting (Featured or A–Z) and your slot budget — a per-slot meter showing how many of your plan's slots are in use — right in the catalog header. At capacity it turns amber and offers the upgrade.
  • Swapping widgets is a first-class move. Remove any widget from its page to free the slot instantly — utility widgets even get an Undo. When you're at your plan's limit, the app now teaches the swap instead of just saying "limit reached."

💄 Improvements

  • Pages come alive when you arrive: Catalog, Settings, Ticker, Account, Support, and the widget pages all fade and stagger in. (A one-line bug had been silently disabling every entrance animation in the app — fixed.)
  • Single-source news widgets no longer hide articles behind a "per source" cap. The limiter now only exists — and only shows its controls — on multi-feed widgets like Custom RSS, and it defaults to showing everything.

🐛 Fixes

  • Adding a widget now shows its data right away. Previously the new feed sat empty — or briefly flashed the "open Configure" prompt — until you visited Configure and came back.
  • "Widget limit reached" no longer stretches some catalog cards taller than their neighbors.
  • The sliding tab highlight in the title bar no longer covers tab labels when it moves to the right.

🔧 Under the hood

Release notes on the What's New pages are now sanitized with DOMPurify, the predictions service joined the production smoke checks, and the website's release fetch is authenticated so it can't get rate-limited into an empty page.
