The bar used to live on one screen: whichever one Scrollr decided was yours. This release is about letting you decide, and about a Settings app you can read from top to bottom without guessing what a slider does.

🖥️ Pick your monitors

The ticker can live on any of your screens, or all of them. Settings › Ticker now draws a map of your monitors, to scale and in the arrangement Windows shows them. Each one has a switch. Click a screen on the map to toggle it, or press Identify and a number appears on every screen for a moment so you know which is which. The last one on stays on.

Every chosen monitor gets its own bar, showing the same content. Plug a screen in, unplug it, switch modes with Win+P, and the bars follow without a restart. If a screen you had chosen disappears, the bar falls back to your primary rather than vanishing with it. Each bar sits flush on its own screen's edge, at that screen's scale.

⚙️ Settings you can read top to bottom

Three pages, three things: Appearance is the app window, Ticker is the bar, Startup is the computer.

Ticker reads in the order you think about it: On · Where · Look · Motion · Behaviour. A Show the ticker switch at the top, your monitors and screen edge under it, then how the bar looks and how it moves. Spacing and Direction are gone. Rotate is folded into Page: if you had Rotate, you are on Page now. Sliders became presets: Size is 85 / 100 / 115 / 130 %, Speed is Slow / Normal / Fast, Time per page is a short list. A stored value that is not on the list snaps to the nearest preset the first time you open the app, so a hand-tuned speed may land one notch off. One On hover row replaces the pause-and-slow pair.

Appearance has a theme grid, App size on the same presets, a Readability group for font weight and high contrast, and Units & formats: °F or °C and 12h or 24h, set once, used by the Weather, Clock and Sysmon widgets and their chips. The per-widget unit controls are gone.

Startup is what happens when your computer starts: Launch at login and a new Start in the background, which brings up the bars and keeps the app window hidden until you open it. The update check always runs now, so its switch is gone, and the interval selects that never did anything are gone too.

Everywhere says the same words. The tray and the ticker's right-click menu use the page's labels, search is generated from the rows so it cannot drift, and the fantasy page's "Advanced — ticker items" toggles are gone: the ticker shows what your detail dial says, nothing to pick.

Send crash reports is a switch under Data & privacy. On, Scrollr sends the error, stack trace, app version and OS; never your account, IP or file paths. Off, it sends nothing.

🔎 A catalog you can search

The catalog opens on a hub. A search box, kinds to browse with a count and the logos of what is inside, New this month, and In your ticker so you can see what is on the bar and how many slots are left.

Pick a kind and you are in the directory: a rail on the left, rows grouped by league or market, one place to add or remove. Removing a widget now offers Undo.

Search for something that is not there and you can ask for it. A miss shows a request card; one click counts your vote and shows how many others have asked for the same thing, with the closest group underneath in case it is already here under another name.

🐛 Fixes

  • On Windows, a bar could be placed one bar-height off its screen edge, leaving an empty band above it. Each bar is now placed from its own monitor's work area.
