Progress

Things that have been done:

• Service which handles bluetooth communication. Asynchronously delivers commands to connected devices and asynchronously delivers results to the app.
• MainActivity is a PagerAdapter (which switches between hub and sensors) with two pages: one page for the Hub, and one page for all the Sensors. The Pages contain ListViews which use the classes hubadapter and sensoradapter to populate the view with data
• hubdata and sensordata classes each represent a hub and a sensor respectively. Each of these classes also have the function to render views from the data, and also an interface to issue commands to the connected hardware. (Each instance of these classes contains a unique bluetooth MAC address which identifies the hardware)
• The program flow is to:

1. Start the MainActivity,
2. Restore data from files from previous sessions into views
3. Launch the bluetooth service if it has not been launched
4. Connect to the service
5. Discover any nearby devices according to the GATT service profiles
6. continuously update connection information for devices and allow the user to issue commands to the connected devices

Things that need to be done:

• Correctly restore data from files
• Display data from sensors in graphs correctly
• fix X coordinates in graphs (from unix timestamp to human readable calendar)
• Investigate robust data exploration methods (Quickly examine outliers and other points of interest from sensordata)
