v0.1.5
Other players' items are now visible in the world: they show as the Archipelago logo on the warp pads, tinted by what they are. Pads can sort their rewards by type, connecting on Linux works out of the box, and the post-boss softlock that has been on the known-issues list since v0.1.2 is fixed.
If you are on v0.1.4.1, this is the release that replaces it. v0.1.4.1 shipped Windows only and was never promoted; v0.1.5 is a complete pair again, on every platform.
Thanks to everyone in the Discord who kept reporting things, and to the people of the Majora's Mask: Recompiled AP Randomizer for the logo mesh.

New
- Items belonging to other players now show as the Archipelago logo on warp pads, tinted by classification so you can tell progression from filler at a glance. (#124)
- Warp pads can group what they are offering by reward type instead of cycling one mixed pile: trophies and podium rungs in one slot, relic tiers in another, tokens and gems and crystals in the third. Set
warp_pad_item_displayin your YAML; the old behaviour is still there asone_pile. (#59) - Hints for a shuffled warp pad now name the physical pad you have to drive into, not just the destination. (#52)
- Item name groups, so hints and commands can ask for a whole category instead of one exact item name. (#167)
- Boss garages and the Oxide door tell you what they want instead of just refusing to open. (#24)
- The title screen tells you when a newer release is out, once, in one orange line, with the detail under OPTIONS then Connection. Turn it off with
update_check = falseinconfig.ini. (#150) - F11 toggles fullscreen, matching upstream. Right Alt plus Enter and Left Alt plus Enter both still work. (#143)
- Gem cups no longer appear on the warp pads that are open right at the start. Reaching a gem cup now always takes some progression first, so an early lucky pad can no longer hand you the strongest checks in sphere one. (#149)
- Audio and a set of small standalone fixes were picked up from upstream ctr-native this cycle. (#121, #123)
Fixed
- Beating a boss while holding no received Keys no longer softlocks the hub. The first-key spawn set a driving freeze that only the Aku Aku greeting released, and the AP flow had already skipped that greeting. On the known-issues list since v0.1.2. (#51)
- Linux: connecting to archipelago.gg no longer fails with a certificate error on distros that keep their trust store somewhere unexpected. (#170)
- The pause screen stopped showing CTR tokens you never received. Arena crystals light for received Purple Tokens only, and the per-colour counts match the printed totals. (#142)
- A failed connection says what went wrong. A dead address now reads "Cannot reach , retrying" after about nine seconds instead of "Connecting..." forever. (#146)
- A seed generated by a newer apworld no longer sends a GOAL it cannot judge. The client says so in the feed and stands down. (#163)
- The boss door's requirement line no longer draws on top of the challenge name, and it now also shows how many trophies you hold. (#24)
- The item marker is shaded and spins with the other prizes instead of sitting as a flat, fixed cut-out. (#124)
- The update notice sits clear of the title banner and the menu instead of across them. (#150)
- More retail-blind NULL dereferences are guarded, continuing the v0.1.4 sweep. (#137)
ctr-ap.logstopped claiming it banked wumpa it actually discarded, and stopped repeating the same reachability line verbatim. (#144)- The music hitch at track change is gone. (#48)
Known issues
- Linux: the pre-race intro flyby renders from inside the track. Near-black frames and flat slabs for the length of the flyby, then everything is correct the moment the countdown view takes over. Cosmetic, the racing view is unaffected. (#138)
- After a long spell offline, reconnecting can pause the game for about ten seconds on the intro screen while it catches up on everything it missed. It does recover on its own; let it finish.
- Brief audio dropouts can happen when the hub streams a new region in, and when you move the window. Not new in this release, and not the track-change hitch above; this one comes from how audio is tied to the main loop and is being worked on for a later release.
Testing
Verified in game on the exact shipped builds, on Windows and on the Steam Deck: fullscreen on all three bindings and mid-race, both warp pad display modes including a no-regression pass on the old one, the arena token display and a first-time arena win while holding received tokens, the connection failure and recovery path, the boss win at zero received Keys that used to softlock, the update notice firing and staying silent when it should, the newer-schema stand-down, a deliberate pool-exhaustion attempt, and a full session of track changes listening for the audio hitch.
The item marker and the boss door advert placement were verified in game again on the polish build after their fixes.
Logic changes passed all ten checks of the Archipelago index fuzz matrix on the exact ctr.apworld shipped here, 14,000 generations, zero failures.
Not verified in game: nothing in this release is claimed above without a matrix item behind it.

0.2.0 is the content wave: all sixteen characters playable in Adventure as multiworld unlocks, staged stat and boost systems, and the location supply to pay for them. No dates, hobby project honesty applies.
