AI Code Companion v0.1.1

The bundle carries its own backend and starts it on launch — nothing
to install, no Node on the machine. Point the window at a backend you
are already running with COMPANION_BACKEND_URL.

macOS will call this download damaged. It is not.

The bundles are unsigned, and "is damaged and can't be opened" is
what macOS says about a quarantined app whose signature it cannot
check. The quarantine flag came from your browser, not from the file.
Drag the app to Applications, then:

xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine "/Applications/AI Code Companion.app"

Control-click → Open was the old way past this; macOS Sequoia 15.1
removed it. Removing the step for good needs an Apple Developer ID and
notarisation, which this project does not have.

On Windows, SmartScreen shows "Windows protected your PC":
