Gatherfield 1.102.0
Gatherfield 1.102.0
- New: Workspace Root. Set any note as your workspace's root — it wears a distinct star in the file tree, in open-pane chips, and on links that point to it in the editor, and your read-throughs build from it. When you haven't set one, Gatherfield uses the oldest note closest to the workspace folder automatically, so a workspace always has a root.
- The graph now decides which note anchors a map from how notes link to each other, not from file names — so a small map reads left-to-right the way you wrote it instead of occasionally looping an arrow backward over the top. A note you set as the workspace root anchors its graph directly.
- Dragging a pane now lifts it as a 300×300 translucent card that follows your cursor and shows a snapshot of the pane you grabbed, while a drop indicator marks where it will land. Press Escape mid-drag to cancel and leave the layout exactly as it was.
- Adding a comment is now fully keyboard-driven and less cluttered: the Add Comment shortcut opens the composer with the cursor already in the text field, Shift+Enter adds the comment, and Escape cancels — no mouse needed.
