- Notes you link to but haven't created yet now behave like every other node on the map: the placeholder fades in at its spot when you type the link, moves with the layout like any node, and when you follow the link it simply fills in where it stood — no more sliding out of other nodes, popping across the pane, or camera nudges around a note that just materialized.
- Side-by-side notes now show how they're connected: the link you followed carries a soft accent arrow that starts under the link itself and runs to the edge of the note it opened, so you can see at a glance which sentence each open note came from — and that the trail reads left to right.
- Open notes separate by tone instead of lines: inactive buffers alternate between two recessed shades (the note you're writing in stays brightest), so a row of notes reads as distinct pages with no chrome between them.
- Camera polish: the graph's settle timings now scale with your camera speed setting, so a layer toggle or a mobile re-center no longer gets overridden mid-animation when the camera speed is set high.
